I was out with a few friends last weekend. The main purpose of this outing was for photoshooting, but somehow we ended up watching a movie. Well, overall it was still great. I managed to take a few photos around KL city centre.

It was really a short and quick one as most of us were very hungry after the movie. So food was the only thing we had in mind.



The evening blue sky of Kuala Lumpur will look like this most of the time.

It is actually very rare to see people using the zebra crossing. Probably they were all tourists ;)



Malaysia is well known for its humidity and warm weather. Yes, HOT and WET.



When it comes to nightscape I always love to capture any sources of lights for example signboards, street lights, moonlight, etc.



These are the Kuala Lumpur city taxis. You should be able to see them almost everywhere except maybe the airport.

I have been to Rome about 2 years ago, that was just couple of months after I graduated and started working. Couldn't believe that it was already 2 years, still feels like last year.

Anyway, we fly from London to Venice and then fly from Venice to Rome 3 days after.



This was the first place we visited after arriving in Rome, the Vatican City.



We were lucky enough to be there at the right time as the Pope was about to give a speech.



Thousands of thousands of people were waiting at the square just in the middle of the Vatican City.



Look closer, you should be able to see the Pope.



Some buildings just next to the Vatican City which is also in the city centre of Rome.



The Castel St. Angelo which is just within walking distance from the Vatican City, so you don't really need to the metro.



The famous Trevi di Fontana (Trevi Fountain), throw a coin and make a wish.



The Monumento Vittorio Emanuele II is a very spectacular monument standing proudly in the centre of Rome's city centre.

Yesterday, we had a small gathering at Sandra's place. It was quite fun, we had lots of food, games and camwhoring sessions.

I think the photos were pretty boring, so I decided to make them look slightly lomo.



Rachel looked very delighted after collected the cover charge from all of us.

Last Saturday, I was at Lake Garden for this "No Chimping Outing". Just for your info, no chimping means you are not allowed to look at your camera's LCD to preview your shots. Also, we are only allowed to use a fixed ISO, a fixed focal length (preferably prime lens) and manual mode instead of the usual P - programmable, A - aperture priority or S - shutter priority.

So, I have to look for a shot with even lighting.



Blindly adjust to a bigger aperture and this is the outcome :)

I know it has been awhile since my last update. I get pretty busy when I am back in Malaysia compared to when I am in London. Anyway, enjoy :)

I know it has been quite awhile since my last post. That's because I was busy with work and preparing for my trip back to Malaysia again! Yes I am back in Malaysia now. With family and so many friends here, it makes it even impossible to update my blog.

Will try to plan a couple of trips to places like Hong Kong and Singapore before I am back to London.

Anyway, here are the photos of the world's largest flower garden, Keukenhof Park, Holland.

All photos are taken with Nikon D70s, in case some of you might want to know :)



The flowers in Keukenhof Park are mainly tulips.



The best time to visit this park would be around mid of March til mid April. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to see the tulips.



Keukenhof Park actually exports tulips to all over the world. You will see it shortly below.



The entirely park is just so beautiful, just imagine the park near you but its covered with tulips.



That is definitely one beautiful tree. Rarely see that colour elsewhere.



Purple, Red, yellow, green.... you name it....



This is one of the main canals that is used to water the flowers.



There is a Japanese garden too.



Flowers, trees, water and sunshine, what more you can ask for?



This is where they plant all the tulips. However, it is not accessible to tourist so we can only see from the other side of the canal.
